Beans play an
important role in many people's lives in Maine. People talk
about baked beans for Saturday night supper. Churches and
other groups hold bean suppers. Any Saturday night pot-luck
supper has at least one pot of beans. Even a B&M baked bean
plant is located in Portland, Maine.
