Directions to the Maine Folklife Center

From I-95:
Take Stillwater Ave. exit. If you are coming from the South, after you exit the highway, take a right onto Stillwater Ave.; if from the North, turn left onto Stillwater Ave. Continue on through the first three lights. When you reach the fourth light you will see a McDonald's on left and a KFC on the right. Take a right onto College Ave. and continue for a little over a mile. Coming up on the left you will see the Alfond Ice Arena (Has 3 peaks......looks like a large wooden tent).

From Alfond Arena:
Turn left in to campus immediately after the Alfond Ice Arena. Head up the incline and you will see the large M on the Memorial Gym. The road takes a sharp right and you face Hart Hall about 75 yards ahead. The road now takes a sharp left. On your right you’re going to see the grassy mall. Continue up this road and take your second right. After this right Jenness Hall is going to be on your left.  When you see the Maine Center for the Arts sign, turn right between MCA and D. P. Corbett Business Building. This street will shortly curve to the right. A turquoise building, Shibles, will be on your right at this point and a parking lot on your left. Pull into the parking lot. As you do so, Stevens Hall will be straight ahead. South Stevens Hall is to the left of Stevens and the Maine Folklife Center is on the first floor of South Stevens

From Downtown Orono:
From downtown Orono, follow Rt. 2 north through town and across the bridge. Route 2 goes right on Park Street. Take the left just after the large University of Maine sign, onto Rangeley Road.  As you continue on this road it splits. Take the left fork and head toward the Maine Center for the Arts. When you reach MCA you will bear right and then take an immediate left. This street will shortly curve to the right. A turquoise building, Shibles, will be on your right at this point and a parking lot on your left. Pull into the parking lot. As you do so, Stevens Hall will be straight ahead. South Stevens Hall is to the left of Stevens and the Maine Folklife Center is on the first floor of South Stevens.
