Description: The collection consists of three interviews about the history of Cowing’s Tavern in Lisbon Falls, Maine. Also discussed are the 1901 and 1947 fires; 1936 flood; Saturday night dances; brickyards; portable saw mills; ice-making; horse racing on ice; log floating; sleigh bells; snow rollers; and steam fire engines.
