Description: 1931 A series of over 200 inteviews conducted with women from 36 states about their involvement with the National Extension Homemakders Council and their roles as homemakers. The project was undertaken by the National Extension Homemakers Council in 1985 in order to commemorate the organization’s 50th anniversary. The Maine Folklife Center is one of many repositories for this collection of bound, edited, and indexed interviews.
