Wilde Stein
The Wilde Stein Alliance for Sexual Diversity named after Oscar Wilde and Gertrude Stein, is an alliance of students who embrace the spectrum of sexualities and genders and offers students the opportunity to socialize in a safe, accepting place, as well as to inform and support the GLBT community.
The group meets every Thursday at 7pm in the FFA Room in the Memorial Union. Students interested in joining Wilde Stein are encouraged to attend a meeting on Thursdays at 7pm, come by the Rainbow Resource Center on the bottom floor of the Memorial Union, or email Rebecca Hickman to have them added to the discussion folders on FirstClass.
The group holds two very important week-long events, Coming Out Week in October and Pride Week in April. These events invite the entire campus community to come celebrate and support the homosexual, bisexual, transgender, questioning, queer, intersexual and/or asexual community.
