Tim Garrity, Master of Arts in History Student Named Executive Director of MDI Historical Society

Tim Garrity, a Master of Arts in History student whose focus is Maine history, has been named executive director of the Mount Desert Island Historical Society. Garrity, who lives in Somesville, served as president and CEO of Blue Hill Memorial Hospital from 2002-2008.
