Interdisciplinary Research Collaboration Fair
Problem solving at the local, state and national levels calls for an interdisciplinary approach. UMaine is becoming known as a nimble institution that builds effective interdisciplinary research partnerships.
IDR can address some of the most pressing issues that confront us including among others:
Energy • Sustainability • Hazing Climate Change • Food & Nutrition• Seafood & Aquaculture• Improving STEM Education
Current IDR successes on our campus remind us to be innovative by seeking to join ongoing projects or by initiating new collaborations that support a broader multidisciplinary research agenda.
Let’s capitalize on our momentum and expand opportunities for participation by exploring the future of IDR.
This event is free and open to all UMaine faculty, instructors, staff and graduate students.
Friday, March 23, 2012 from 12:00 pm to 1:30 p.m.
