Publishing Scholarly Writing Lectures
Publishing Scholarly Writing from the Editors' Point of View program will bring three distinguished editors of leading journals to campus to discuss the scholarly publishing process:
- R. Brooks Hanson of Science - Monday, March 26, 2012 @ 4:00 p.m. in Stodder Hall Graduate Commons
- Stephen Depoe of Environmental Communication - Monday, April 2, 2012 @ 4:00 p.m. in Stodder Hall Graduate Commons
- Robert Wilson of The American Scholar - Monday, April 9, 2012 @ 4:00 p.m. in Stodder Hall Graduate Commons
Each will deliver a public lecture (with Q&A) on the scholarly publishing process in science, social science, and the humanities. Although intended primarily for graduate students and faculty, these events will be free and open to the public.
No Registration is required for the events sponsored by Bailey Professor of Speech & Theatre, The Graduate School, Cultural Affairs/Distinguished Lecture Series Committee, The Vice President for Research, University Relations, and the Department of Communication and Journalism
