UMaine Doctoral Student Completion Rates Surpass National Average

Assistant Professor of Higher Education Dr. Susan K. Gardner's recent research reveals UMaine Doctoral students complete their programs at higher rates than the national average.  Dr. Gardner who studies student success and retention at the doctoral level, has spent the past nine months analyzing data for nearly 1,500 doctoral students who have been enrolled since 1990.
