Construction began on rehabilitating Stodder Hall from undergraduate student housing to graduate housing in early 2008. The new Stodder Hall Graduate Center will house the Graduate School offices and the offices of the Graduate Student Government, and will offer flexible room arrangements for graduate students, all in the same location.

Dan Flannery, a student in the Intermedia MFA program has won a Grand Prize Award in the John Lennon Songwriting Contest. Flannery's song "One Wasn't Enough" won in the Children's category, and can be described as 'a catchy tune with funny lyrics.'
