Computer Engineering Students Place 1st & 2nd of Northeast USA Region in IEEE International Programming Contest

Team Megaflops, which included two graduate students, Jason Monk and Aaron McCollough, both Master of Science in Computer Engineering students, and Forrest Flagg won first place in the Northeastern Region of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) International Programming Competition.  UMaine's Team ShortCircuts won second prize and consisted of undergraduate students Gabriel Noblesmith, Alexander Arseneau and Corey Birdsall.  For the full press release, please click here.  Pictured at left (from left to right) is Forrest Flatt, Jason Monk and Aaron McCollough.
