Financial Information
The University of Maine offers a number of graduate teaching and research assistantships to well-qualified applicants. With the recent graduate stipend increase, assistantships include a stipend of at least $13,600 plus tuition benefits and partial health insurance coverage. However, graduate assistantships in some programs commonly provide financial support ranging between $25,000-$30,000. Contact your Graduate Program Coordinator for more information about the availability of assistantships in each graduate program.
