This thesis explores the process of translating and staging Ambling Riders, a Turkish play by Özen Yula into English. The challenges and successes of the translation/adaptation are illustrated with examples. Both the summary of the script and the translation are provided in the text and the appendices. The stages of direction and production of the play are also chronicled and explained briefly. The process of seeking funding resources is expounded upon with examples of grant applications. The supporting materials, regarding the production, such as photos from the production, the program, audition forms and design images are also included.
