Minor in History
A minor in History shall consist of at
least 18 credit hours, of which at least 12 must be at the upper level
(300-400 level). These courses must cover more than one century
and more than one continent. Only HTY-designated courses shall
count toward the minor.
Please note: Naval Science does
not satisfy the History Department's "outside field of study"
requirement because the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences allows only
9 credit hours in this field toward the Bachelor of Arts degree.
We require a minimum of 18 accepted hours toward the minor area.
