This is a completely voluntary program for which employees must apply. This program is available to full-time faculty and professional employees who are at least age 55 with ten years of regular service or whose age plus years of service total 73 or more. Professional employees who have been designated ‘Benefits Regular’ (see Schedule Reduction section above) are also eligible for Partial/Phased Retirement. The campus policy is to consider requests for partial phased retirement if the date of full retirement is no more than three years in the future.
