Parking
Parking at the University of Maine is by permit only. There are, however, a number of short-term visitor parking slots.
Permits are for the calendar year; parking lots are color-coded. Staff lots are coded BLUE
Permits can be purchased at the Student Service Center at the Memorial Union.
Permit costs are prorated and are a function of the date of your purchase and/or your bargaining unit.

The BAT (Bangor Area Transit)/Community Connector bus is a Bangor based public transportation service that makes regular hourly stops on campus behind the Memorial Union. Riding the BAT is free to all University students, faculty and employees by showing your MaineCard to the driver. Combat high gas prices by taking advantage of this excellent University benefit.
