Lynne was a reliable and dedicated employee who provided nineteen years of first class shuttle service for hundreds of faculty and.  The shuttle is a critical link between the University of Maine campus and the Darling Marine Center. 

It should be noted that Lynn is a great driver! Her shuttle riders consistently praised her safety consciousness and her cool attitude.  How many grandmothers do you know who used to be truck drivers? Lynn transported a broad spectrum of people and maintained good relationships with a host of personalities. 

Lynn never missed work, even during the terrible winter driving conditions and was the most reliable shuttle driver that ever was employed by the Darling Marine Center. She could be counted on to keep track of mail, packages, people and schedules no matter how hectic the day or bad the weather. 

The Darling Center staff knew they could always count on her to be there when they needed her.  Her sense of humor will be missed!
