Margaret “Peggy” Ford
Manager of Funded Accounts
Collins Center for the Arts

Peggy Ford came to the then Maine Center for the Arts at the University of Maine over 22 years ago. In her various positions at the Center she has made many friends throughout the University community over the years working in the “theatre”. Serious and dedicated to the Center, Peggy would be the first to “volunteer” to help where help was needed.

Following the adage that “the show must go on” she wore many hats. From marketing to outreach, to ushering and house management to transporting and entertaining performers, there was Peggy. The staff could count on Peggy’s loyalty, creativity and willingness to do what needed to be done. She was admired for making the work look easy. All of this in addition to managing various accounts in a “not-for-profit” challenge, and in spite of People Soft!

In her private life Peggy has been a prominent member of her church, a volunteer board member at Manna and is certified as a hospice care giver. Peggy has been a loyal, conscientious, supportive, dedicated and caring member of the now Collins Center for the Arts team.

Peggy you will certainly be missed as the Center continues to serve the University and the people of Maine. We wish you the most enjoyable and fulfilling retirement!
