Jim Sucec has been an impressive faculty member in the Mechanical Engineering Department for over 45 years. His dedication to teaching, advising and research has been unparalleled by any standard of evaluation and is truly unique and outstanding.

He is highly respected by our students and is the kind of professor who is always conscientious about the learning process for our students. His services to the College of Engineering are also truly outstanding. As Chair of the Peer Review Committee his work ethic and sense of fairness has been well received by his colleagues. Jim is a rare find and an exceptional academician. He has taught countless numbers of students and is someone who has truly made a difference.
