Christmas Day

This memo will serve as a reminder that Christmas will be celebrated on Monday, December 26, 2011.  Since classes are not in session, all administrative and academic offices may close.  All departments should permit employees to receive time off.  However, where continuous operation is required, schedules should be arranged to allow as many employees as possible to receive these days off. 

All regular classified employees will be given holiday pay equal to the regularly scheduled hours for this day.  Classified employees who are required to work will be compensated at 1 1/2 times the hourly rate for the number of hours worked.
