Thanksgiving Day

Thanksgiving Day and the day after are official family holidays and will be celebrated this year on Thursday, November 24 and Friday, November 25, 2011.

Since classes are not in session, all administrative and academic offices may close. Where continuous operation is required, schedules should be arranged to allow as many employees as possible to receive this holiday off.

All regular classified employees will be given holiday pay equal to the regularly scheduled hours for this day. Classified employees who are required to work will be compensated at 1 1/2 times the hourly rate for the number of hours worked.
