Design Your Own Birchbark Berry Container

Container

 

First Fold
1.) Fold corners “E” along the dotted lines. Next, crease the “F” dotted lines.
Overlap the folded corners “E,” as shown in the image on the right.

Piercing and Threading
2.) Use a bamboo skewer to pierce the container at each end.
Thread raffia through the holes on each end and tie to hold the
container together, as shown.

3.) Decorate the finished “birchbark” container using some of the
traditional designs suggested below:
