#6 Garden Rattle

Miniature carrot and corn baskets by Penobscot basketmaker Pam Cunningham average 7" long with the top and 3/4" in diameter. These baskets are actually rattles, filled with dried corn and used in planting ceremonies to ensure a healthy and prosperous crop. #9 Bottle Basket

A tour de force by Pam Cunningham! These two bottle baskets are a joy. Using the traditional method of building the basket around a jar, Pam has cleverly designed these variations on two antique bottles using dyed ash and braided sweetgrass.
These two won’t last long.

#10 Corn Basket

Master basketmaker Rocky Keezer has fashioned this natural ash corn basket with sweetgrass lid as a variation on the traditional corn baskets. The curls are perfectly executed as they descend into the tiny splints at the base of the corn.
