Will I have to pay to access UMaine on iTunes U?
No. Access to all content from UMaine on iTunes U is free. You may preview and download anything you wish.

How do I access UMaine on iTunes U?
One accesses iTunes U via the most current version of iTunes software, which you install on your Mac or PC computer. To download the application, make sure your system software is fully up-to-date and then visit
www.apple.com/itunes, where the software is located. Once you've installed the software, restart your computer, launch the iTunes application and click on "iTunes U" in the left navigation area at the left of the screen. There, you will find "University of Maine" listed alphabetically. Select that link and you will be inside UMaine’s section of iTunes U.

Is UMaine's content part of the iTunes Music Store?
Absolutely. You may search for and access UMaine content directly in the iTunes Store. Look for UMaine in the "iTunes U" section.

Where in iTunes is the content I downloaded from UMaine on iTunes U?
All UMaine content downloaded from the iTunes Store appears in a playlist called "University of Maine" in the playlists section of the iTunes application.

Do I have to use iTunes and Apple products to have access?
Yes, you must use the iTunes application to download content. Apple offers a free Mac and Windows version of iTunes at
www.apple.com/itunes. That said, you do not need a Macintosh, iTunes, or an iPod to play the audio files. What you will need is a player capable of playing .mp4 AAC (Advanced Audio Codec) files.
