Development Services: Child Development Services is the statewide
coordinating/funding agency for early intervention services. They will screen
children, refer for evaluations and for services. Thiis meets the federal
mandate for Early Intervention so there is no cost to the parents. All children
birth to five are eligible for free developmental screening. The Penobscot
