Academic Requirements for
Admission to the University of Maine
The required
high school academic course of study, combined with academic
electives, should equal at least 17 credits. In the case of
a foreign language requirement, the two years of study must
be in the same language. Specifically, the College of
Liberal Arts and Sciences requires the following:
