For large injured animals, such as deer, bear, moose – call the regional headquarters for your area and ask for the Warden Service!  

For other injured animals, such as birds and small mammals, check the IF&W wildlife rehabilitators’ list, which is organized by the lettered regions used by IF&W (see regional headquarters list above.)

Many municipalities have an animal control officer that can be contacted through the municipal office, or by calling the non-emergency number for your local police.
