Prior to coming to the UMaine Center on Aging as a program coordinator for RSVP, I was employed by the United Way of Eastern Maine as a Volunteer Services Coordinator for RSVP and United Volunteers. I have taught psychology and sociology courses for Eastern Maine Community College and Husson College . In the early 1990's, I was the Assistant Director of the Maine Educational Talent Search Program headquartered at UM. Also, I taught high school for many years. My M.Ed. is from UM in counselor education, and I did my undergraduate work at UM Farmington in secondary education. I am originally from Presque Isle , ME.
