Research interests

I am motivated by the power of scientific research and results to inspire and inform us, and am especially interested in the design and use of research to help us conserve and sustainably use ocean resources. My research focus is physical oceanography, with previous projects on particle trajectories and mixing in complex flows and current work toward developing a catalogue of oceanographic events of interest in the Gulf of Maine using near real-time data streams.
