Research interests

My primary research deals with a genetic mutation found in the softshell clam Mya Arenaria which causes resistance to the sodium channel blocking saxitoxins produced by red tide algae along the northeast Atlantic coast and its effect on the clam's natural population dynamics.  More info can be found on my website.
