Research interests

My research interests in marine ecology and management are broad from fisheries to conservation of marine ecosystems. During the last few years I focused my research interests on the ecology of marine invasive species. For my doctoral research, I plan to investigate the biogeographic patterns of invasive species in the Gulf of Maine and Chile. Independent of the transport by human, seems that some oceans - or biogeographic areas - facilitate the bioinvasions, and others resist them.
