Executive-in-Residence
“I want our students to think
about being future managers
who
can create and maintain
great
places to work.”
Courses Taught:
Integrated Marketing Communications
The ability to persuasively communicate
and influence others is a critical
marketing and personal/professional skill
to understand and utilize.
International Business
Our students
must have an understanding and
appreciation of the impact, challenges and
opportunities of globalization.
Principles of Management &
Organization
I have observed and experienced “the
good, the bad and the ugly” of business
management and welcome the
opportunity to supplement the academic
research and literature with my
perceptions and learning from “real
world” circumstances.
Education & Recognitions:
B.A., Kean University (Union, NJ)
Letters of Commendation from U.S.
Presidents Lyndon B. Johnson and Gerald
R. Ford
Why I chose the MBS/UMaine:
I wanted to find a way to share my
business experience. I am grateful for the
opportunity to be a member of the MBS
faculty and come to work every day
saying “I love my job!”
Little known facts about me:
I can play the accordion, drums, bongos,
stand-up “slap-style” base, banjo, tenor
guitar, harmonica and the “spoons.” I
composed instrumental arrangements. My
greatest fans now are my six grandchildren.
