Since 1995 Kathryn has served as Editor of Maine
Policy Review, which addresses policy issues of relevance to Maine
and New England. Kathryn also coordinates many of the Center's citizenship
and civic engagement projects, including the Maine Code of Election Ethics
(1996-2002) and, currently, the Maine Citizenship Education Project
(2004-2006). This past fall she also taught a course for the Honors College
entitled Campaign Conduct, Voter Participation and Democracy.
Additionally, Kathryn manages projects that
address community and economic development issues at the local, regional and
statewide levels with a particular emphasis on tourism and the creative
economy. She is called upon frequently to facilitate planning and policy
forums as well as strategic planning sessions for private and public
organizations statewide.
