Mr. Parker comes to the
center with eight plus years of professional experience in GIS. After
graduation. Mr. Parker worked first at the Massachusetts Port
Authority doing transportation analysis then for the Boston Police
Department’s Crime Analysis Unit. Mr. Parker helped develop much of
the GIS now being used at the Boston Police Department including
applications used by District Commanders to analyze crime. Mr. Parker
also worked the last four years for James W. Sewall, a private GIS, Survey,
and Engineering firm in Old Town, Maine.
