Fields of Interest
- Environmental and Resource Economics
Dr. Rubin's research focuses on market-based
solutions to attain environmental goals. His recent work investigates the
potential economic and social impacts from trading of green house gas and
fuel efficiency credits. Dr. Rubin is also co-author of the TAFV
(Transitional Alternative Fuels and Vehicles) model that examines the
effects of market barriers and government policies toward alternative fuels
and vehicles. Dr. Rubin is the Secretary of the Transportation Energy
Committee, of the Transportation Research Board, NRC.
