Lee Webb joined the Margaret Chase Smith
Center in January, 2004. He has over 30 years of experience in public policy
analysis, state government leadership, and hospital and university
administration. In the 1970s, he founded and was President of the Center for
Policy Alternatives in Washington, a national public policy research center
on state and local government policy. Moving to New York, Lee worked as a
senior member of Governor Cuomo's administration as Executive Vice President
of the NY Urban Development Corporation. He has also worked as Vice
President for Administration at the New School University in New York City
with responsibility for capital financing, real estate, capital
construction, facilities planning, and other operating departments.
