Sarah Blake

is currently seeking full-time employment.  With internship experience and a GPA of 3.98, she hopes to find a position as a design engineer in industry.  For the summer, Sarah will live in Brewer, Maine with her husband and two cats.  She plans to find temporary employment while in pursuit for a permanent position.

 

Scott Eaton

will be spending the summer working at the Naval Underwater Warfare Center in Newport, Rhode Island.  In the Fall,  he will continue his education at the University of Tennessee where he will be pursuing a Master's in Thermal-Fluid Systems Engineering.

 

Mary Girard

 

mary.girard@umit.maine.edu

plans to start work full-time at MIT Lincoln Laboratory in Lexington, Massachusetts. Lincoln Laboratory is a Federally Funded Research and Development Center. She'll be working in Group 75 Optical Systems Engineering on a range of problems with mechanical and aerospace applications.  Mary plans to pursue her graduate degree in a couple years.

 

Hassan Mazi

will be taking a couple of summer classes.  In August, God willing, he will start his career at Saudi Aramco, Dhahran, Saudi Arabia.  He anticipates a position at the Consulting Services Department which is Aramco's Engineering Standards and Specifications home.  Hassan plans to pursue a Master degree in about three years.

 

The advisor of this project is Michael “Mick” Peterson, associate professor of mechanical engineering.
