To apply my knowledge in the field of Mechanical Engineering to designing mechanical components and systems, as well as troubleshoot existing mechanical components and systems to increase productivity.

Gained the ability to troubleshoot problems in the most rational and logical ways.  Learned to solve issues over the phone in a quick manner.

  1. Implemented wireless internet access over the entire University system.

Graduating May 2006 with a BS in Mechanical Engineering.  Studied Computer and Electrical Engineering for 6 semesters also.
Focused on courses such as dynamics, system controls, heat transfer, solar thermal engineering, engine design, fluid mechanics, finite element method, advanced strengths of materials, and thermodynamics.
Gained familiarity with many software suites including Solidworks, Mathcad, Matlab, AutoCAD, Simulink, Cosmos, Algor, and Pro-E

Activities

 

  1. Co-Founder of the University of Maine Automotive Enthusiast Club
  2. Avid mountain and road biker, kayaker, and hiker
  3. Well versed in web design and Windows and Linux server maintenance.
