                                                                                                                                       Welcome to 2006-2007 Zero Emissions Lawn Mower website.  This site is designed
    to show the progress we've made in creating a solar recharging system for the lawn
    mower created by last year's team.  Our goal this year is to take the lawnmower
    completely off the power grid with the use of a solar powered recharging shed.

    The shed is built and is charging the lawnmower batteries!  The charging shed has             been presented at the Hosmer Lab Dedication and the Mechanical Engineering                   Open House with great success.  The design tool has also been competed.  This                 tool allowed us to choose our location and the amount of power we needed for our             battery pack.  The tool then calculated the amount of time and wattage we would               need for a complete charge.  To view this tool, click here.
