The goal of the multi-fuel engine control team is to develop a system that is capable of operating the Phazer on any mixture of ethanol and gasoline. We have chosen to use a well known aftermarket ECU called MegaSquirt. This system allows the sled to run on any amount of Ethanol through the use of a Flex fuel sensor and tune the sled to minimize emissions while still retaining good fuel mileage. The Phazer will compete in the 2008 Clean Snowmobile Challenge held at Michigan Tech in March.
