Average wind speed gathered from Matinicus Rock weather station used in our Homer simulations

This is a printout of a Homer simulation model using Matinicus Rock wind data and using estimated electrical

load data. The printout shows what two 30 kW wind turbines would produce over the course of a year.

Wind data gathered from anemometer on Matinicus Island radio tower 45 feet from the ground from 2/18/09 to 4/9/09.
