▪ Wood Fired Boiler Specifications ▪ -The Green Team Wood Fired Boiler Must Meet the Following specs: ▪ A stick wood burning wood fired boiler that heats water from 40F to 150F ▪ The stove must be manufactured for under $1000 ▪ System must be designed to preheat combustion air ▪ System must be designed to be at a safe outside temperature ▪ System must be designed to be at least 6” from any bottom surface ▪ Bottom of the stove must be the coolest part of the exterior shell ▪ A Maximum 35” x 22” x 20” Steel Shell ▪ Fire Brick Lined Firebox and Secondary Burn Chamber ▪ 30 or less CFM Forced Draft System ▪ Copper Tube Counter flow Heat Exchanger setup ▪ Plumbing system composed of a flow control valve, mixing valve, circulation pump, 35 Gal water tank, and expansion tank. ▪ Cast Iron door, with safety fan shut off switch, with proper gaskets, and thermal protection · Large ash pan below a cast iron wood grate |
