Wood Fired Water Heater

Senior Project Goal:

Today we are a people who face increasing fuel prices, suffer from a dependency on oil and coal (which must be shipped and is non-renewable), and show an ever growing concern for the amount of emissions we are putting into the atmosphere.

In order to face these issues head on, Team Blue set out to develop a way that the average household  could heat their domestic hot water using a local, renewable and carbon-neutral resource; wood!

We present to the public a domestic water heater that strives to achieve the smallest environmental footprint possible, while still being safe, cost effective, and user friendly.
