I will be graduating in May 2010 from the University of Maine with a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering Technology. Before returning to school in January of 2008, I was in Seattle, WA helping start and run three highly knowledge based comfort shoe centers. I also worked for seven years in the high tech telecommunications industry. I enjoy backpacking, movies and the satisfaction of fixing things around the house.
Since coming to the University of Maine I have worked for the Advanced Manufacturing Center managing the fifteen plus computer network. I have also worked on several prototype projects from design to fabrication. In the summer of 2009 I worked for the US Naval Research Laboratories. While there I gained valuable experience with various testing equipment, processes, and procedures. I look forward to my next exciting career as a Mechanical Engineer
