The Bangor Daily News and Lewiston Sun Journal carried a story today about Auburn native and UMaine graduate Pamela White, who has been nominated by President Obama to be the next U.S. Ambassador to Haiti. The career foreign service minister has been serving as the U.S. ambassador to Gambia.
