Nontraditional Students Association Meeting Minutes

Everyone approved purchasing a tabletop display for $85. This money will come out of our budget.

Due to a vacancy in our Secretary/Treasurer position caused by scheduling conflicts and an urgent need for representation at meetings of the Student Government finance committee, per our Bylaws we elected a new treasure to fill the vacancy. We thanked our old treasurer for filling that position over the past year and a half.

Non-Traditional Students Week runs Nov. 2 through 6. The Family Movie & PIzza Night will be held on Thursday this week. We were not able to acquire a kid-friendly movie through CAB as usual, so we're having to seek funding to cover the $400 cost. There will be a Live 'N' Learn lunch series with a light lunch served, and we've been asked if we want to sponsor the lunches. Chair massages will also be offered if funding can be found, so we're attempting to get funding to cover this cost as well. Requests will be made to Student Government and to the Dean's Program Fund.

Also, a table will be available in the lobby, so we decided to do a bake sale on Monday from 10AM to 2PM. Sara Myrick and Nicole Baker agreed to bring in some baked goods. Lisa Chapman agreed to man the table from 10AM to noon. Lucas Rumler agreed to man the table from noon to 2PM. The main focus of this bake sale is exposure for the NSA.
