Cadillac Mountain
After a short steep climb the trail
follows the gentle incline of the south ridge, cairns marking the
way. Turn around and look South, the Atlantic beckons. In this
general area of the mountain we saw a flock of more than 30 cedar
waxwings gather fruit from the Bar Harbor juniper growing among the
crags of granite.
