Petit Manan National Wildlife Refuge in Downeast Maine
includes Petit Manan Island with its dramatic light house and an
on-shore refuge on Pigeon Hill Peninsula in Steuben. The several
walks at the refuge provide spectacular fall views of wildlife and
the cultural resources of coastal Maine. This is all a little over
an hour South and East of Orono.
