A little further down the coast
("down" refers to going East in Maine -- Down East -- an old
seafaring reference to the fact that Maine was down wind from Boston
in most seasons) we stopped at Sorrento. Here the first treat of the
day was finding a mature bald eagle and two juveniles fishing along
the shore.
