Walking in Acadia National Park
Acadia National Park
is not only enjoyable for non-technical climbing, there are ample
opportunities for spectacular walking within the park and in the
surrounding communities. Walks include carriage roads and
connector paths between communities.
Friends of
Acadia has been active in maintaining and upgrading these
walking experiences.
All a little more than
an hour from Orono and The University of Maine.
